Cold Treat
In Los Angeles, along with the Hollywood sign and Walk of Fame, Farmer's Market on Fairfax and 3rd is one of the most recognizable landmark.
I spent some time there with a friend this past Sunday, walking around after having a yummy BBQ pulled pork sandwich with mac & cheese along with ice cold lemonade.
After we were done, we stopped in for some good old fashioned ice cream, at Bennett's which has been family operated since 1963.

At this cash-only, award winning spot, I chose my mint chocolate chip on a cone, and sat down to people watch on a warm Mother's Day afternoon.
